Julia Syrzistie works across printmaking, book arts and design for print. In her work, she researches unexplored narratives and social phenomena through a typographic lens: in particular the history of letterpress printing. Recently, she has been exploring 19th century decorative type, imaginary alphabets and printer’s ornaments.
